SOCATA TB-9 Tampico — Primary-Source Technical Documentation Collection

The SOCATA TB-9 Tampico is a French all-metal, low-wing, four-seat light aircraft developed by Socata (Groupe Aérospatiale / EADS) as a primary and instrument flight trainer. Powered by the Lycoming O-320-D2A (160 HP), the TB-9 became a cornerstone of European flight training fleets from the late 1980s through the 2000s, prized for its structural robustness, positive stability characteristics, and high demonstrated crosswind capability (25 knots).
