A rare surviving set of original factory engineering drawings produced by SAI Ambrosini, one of Italy's most technically refined aircraft manufacturers of the late 1930s and early 1940s. These are primary-source draughtsmanship documents — not reproductions, not scans of published manuals — drawn directly on the factory floor by Ambrosini's engineering staff.

Why This Set Matters
SAI Ambrosini produced some of the most aerodynamically elegant Italian aircraft of the WWII era. The factory at Passignano sul Trasimeno was known for precision mixed construction — wood, metal, and fabric — and these drawings reflect that engineering philosophy in full detail. Sheet 07 (landing gear retraction mechanism) is particularly rare: a kinematic diagram showing the full retraction sequence, actuator geometry, and numbered parts list — the kind of document that almost never survives outside factory archives.
