Ryan S-C / SCW — Primary-Source Documentation Archive
The Ryan S-C (also known as the Ryan SCW) stands as one of the most forward-thinking light aircraft designs of the 1930s — a three-seat cabin monoplane that abandoned tube-and-fabric convention in favour of a fully metal, stressed-skin monocoque structure. Only 13 were ever built. The documentation that survives them is rarer still.

Historical Significance
Ryan Aeronautical redirected its entire production capacity to military trainer manufacture (Ryan PT-22) for World War II, leaving only 13 S-C airframes in existence. Factory service bulletins for this type are exceptionally rare and are preserved here in their original archival form.
Military Logs — L-10
A single production model was impressed into service by the USAAF during World War II as the L-10 liaison aircraft. It generated military technical evaluation notes before being decommissioned in 1944 — a unique chapter in the S-C's brief but remarkable operational history.
