Potez 43 Touring Monoplane — Archival Manual Collection
The Potez 43 was one of the most successful French light touring monoplanes of the 1930s — a refined, 3-seat derivative of the popular Potez 36, developed by Société des Aéroplanes Henry Potez and produced in 161 units. Its high-wing, strut-braced parasol configuration with fixed leading-edge slats delivered exceptional low-speed safety and benign stall characteristics, making it a favourite of French civil flying clubs and military liaison units alike. The modular engine bay accepted four different powerplants — from the original Potez 6 AC (100 cv) to the de Havilland Gipsy Major (120 cv) — without structural modification.
This Living Collection brings together 2 primary-source French-language documents issued by the Société des Aéroplanes Henry Potez — fixed at their original publication dates and presented in archival facsimile.
