Messerschmitt Bf 109 E Aircraft Engineering Blueprints Collection

Collection of original Messerschmitt factory engineering drawings for the Bf 109 E "Emil" variant — the backbone of the Luftwaffe during the Battle of Britain.

Continuously Expanding Historical Collection — Free Lifetime Updates

This is a living collection that we continuously expand and refine. As we acquire additional authentic Bf 109 E documentation, we update this collection and provide free lifetime updates to all purchasers. Your one-time purchase guarantees permanent ownership and access to all future additions.

What's Included

  • High-resolution reproductions of original Messerschmitt factory engineering drawings
  • Structural manufacturing drawings covering numerous aircraft assemblies and components
  • Original dimensions, production notes and engineering details where present in the surviving documents
  • Digitally restored PDF files suitable for research, study and reference

Document Provenance

This collection draws from three distinct primary-source streams, each with its own historical significance:

  • Messerschmitt Flugzeugbau, Augsburg — Original factory engineering drawings produced at the Messerschmitt works, stamped, signed, and dated by the original draughtsmen. These are the definitive manufacturing documents of the Bf 109 E programme.
  • Dornier-Werke A.G., Altenrhein (Switzerland) — Subcontractor drawings produced by Dornier's Swiss facility for specific Bf 109 E components, including windscreen assemblies and canopy hardware. These documents carry the Dornier eagle stamp and full Swiss production traceability.
  • А.Р.Г. — Soviet Capture Drawings — Engineering drawings captured by the Red Army and re-documented by Soviet technical intelligence. These sheets carry Cyrillic annotations and Soviet archival stamps overlaid on the original German drawings — a unique historical artefact of the Eastern Front technical intelligence effort.

Perfect For

  • Aviation historians and researchers
  • Scale model builders and RC aircraft enthusiasts
  • Aircraft restoration projects
  • Educational purposes and technical study
  • World War II history enthusiasts
  • German aviation collectors

Format and Delivery Digital download via secure cloud link. High-resolution digital files in PDF format.

Important Note for Scale Modellers Original factory manufacturing drawings do not always include complete aircraft lofting information, fuselage station diagrams or former geometry. Where such original documentation has not survived or is unavailable, it cannot be included in the collection. Any newly acquired original material is supplied free of charge to all previous purchasers.

Nature of the Collection This collection reproduces surviving historical Messerschmitt factory documentation. As with many WWII archives, some original drawings, lofting data, station diagrams or manufacturing records may no longer exist or may not yet have been located. The collection reflects the documentation currently available and is expanded whenever additional authentic material becomes available.

Our Editorial Philosophy Preservation before reconstruction. Authenticity before completeness. Original evidence before modern interpretation.

Our mission is to collect, structure, preserve and publish surviving original aviation documentation — not to reconstruct or invent engineering data that no longer exists.

Documentation reference for restoration research.
