Promotional – Do 217 K/M

Dornier Do 217 Aircraft Manuals Collection — Variants K, M & General

A comprehensive archive of 17 original Luftwaffe technical publications covering the Dornier Do 217 in its K and M bomber variants, together with general armament, equipment, and identification documents. All materials are in German language (Flugzeug-Handbuch series) and represent primary-source documentation from Dornier-Werke GmbH and associated Luftwaffe technical offices.

The Do 217K and M were the definitive heavy bomber variants of the Do 217 family. The K introduced a fully redesigned stepless cockpit — eliminating the earlier stepped windscreen — reducing drag and increasing top speed by approximately 80 km/h over the E-series. The K-2 and K-3 featured an extended wingspan of 24.8 m to carry radio-guided anti-shipping weapons including the Fritz X and Henschel Hs 293. The M-variant substituted the BMW 801 radial engines for twin Daimler-Benz DB 603A liquid-cooled inlines (1,750 PS each), achieving a maximum speed of 557–560 km/h at 5,700 m — making it one of the fastest bombers of its era.
