The C-212 Aviocar is a twin-engine, non-pressurized STOL utility transport optimized for short, unprepared airstrips. Its high-mounted, un-swept wing with double-slotted trailing-edge flaps delivers exceptional low-speed handling. Power comes from wing-mounted Garrett/Honeywell TPE331 turboprops — TPE331-5-251C (~777 SHP) on Series 100, upgrading to TPE331-10R (Series 200/300) and TPE331-12JR (Series 400, up to 900 SHP) — driving constant-speed, fully feathering, reversible propellers.
