This compendium expands on the Boeing Model 367/377 Family – Primary-Source Technical Documentation Collection, which already lists 19 primary-source titles from the original XC-97 prototype through the KC-97L hybrid jet-piston tanker, and adds engine, propeller and dedicated report material. Brief Technical Background

The 367/377 family grew from the B-29 Superfortress into a pressurized double-bubble transport line, powered by four Pratt & Whitney R-4360 Wasp Major radials; the KC-97L added two General Electric J47 turbojets in underwing pods, creating a hybrid dual-fuel architecture.
