The BMW 132 was a 9-cylinder air-cooled supercharged radial engine produced in Germany prior to and during World War II. Introduced in 1933, this highly successful engine powered key military and civilian aircraft including the iconic Junkers Ju 52, the Arado Ar 196, and the Focke-Wulf Fw 200 Condor. Built under licence from Pratt & Whitney and evolved from the P&W R-1690 Hornet, the BMW 132 became the backbone of German transport, utility, and maritime aviation throughout the 1930s and early WWII years. Over 21,000 units were produced between 1933 and 1945.

No active production certificate; historical holdings managed through EASA archives and legacy air museums.
