Swiss Aviation Collection

Switzerland's aviation industry is defined by precision, independence, and remarkable ingenuity. A landlocked neutral nation with no colonial aviation ambitions, Switzerland nonetheless produced some of the most capable training aircraft, utility platforms, and military jets of the twentieth century. From the pioneering work of RUTHA and the Häfeli designs of the First World War era through the Cold War jets of EFW and the enduring STOL mastery of Pilatus, Swiss aviation represents a tradition of engineering excellence rarely matched in proportion to national size.

This collection assembles primary-source technical documentation from Swiss manufacturers and the Swiss Air Force — factory manuals, maintenance references, and engineering documents covering indigenous Swiss designs and the extensive range of licence-built and operated foreign types.
