Saunders-Roe (Saro) — Full Aircraft Log

Saunders-Roe Limited, commonly known as Saro, was a British aircraft and hovercraft manufacturer based at Cowes on the Isle of Wight. Formed in 1928 from the merger of S.E. Saunders Ltd and the Avro company's marine aircraft interests, Saro became one of Britain's foremost designers of flying boats, producing a succession of elegant and technically ambitious designs from the inter-war period through to the jet age. The company also produced land-based aircraft, mixed-power interceptors, and a notable line of helicopters before its absorption into the Westland group in 1959. This reference log documents every known aircraft design attributed to the company.
